Lipid Droplet‐Driven Ribosome Collisions Trigger ZAKα‐p38 Signaling to Accelerate Testicular Aging
Aging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 1, January 2026.Aging‐ and obesity‐driven lipid droplet accumulation in Sertoli cells induces ROS‐mediated ribosome collisions, activating the ZAKα‐p38 pathway to accelerate testicular aging. Pharmacological ZAKα inhibition with Nilotinib rescues age‐related testicular dysfunction, identifying ribotoxic stress as a therapeutic target.
