This work constitutes a comparative pharmacobotanical study of Hyptis pectinata (L.) Poit. and Hyptis suaveolens (L.) Poit. The genus Hyptis Jacq. (Lamiaceae) has about 300 species with wide distribution, occurring mainly in the tropical areas of Americas and Africa.
