An improved Bouc –Wen model for describing hysteretic characteristics of shock absorbers

open access: yes工程科学学报, 2020
The error between the actual damping force and the simulated damping force obtained using the Bouc–Wen model under non-identification excitation conditions is large, and the model is too sensitive to non-identification excitation amplitude and thus ...

Anisotropic Memristive Switching in NbOCl2 Enabled by Directional Oxygen Ion Migration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates strongly orientation‐dependent memristive switching in anisotropic NbOCl2, observed exclusively along the in‐plane c‐axis. The switching originates from direction‐selective oxygen‐ion migration and vacancy propagation that modulate the Pd/NbOCl2 Schottky barrier, enabling short‐term plasticity.

Sustained Self‐Powered Real‐Time Vibration Monitoring Through Integrated Nonlinear Harvesting and Energy‐Aware Wireless Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐powered vibration sensing platform integrates a quasi‐zero‐stiffness piezoelectric harvester, synchronized electric charge extraction, energy management, and wireless ADC acquisition. Ambient vibration is simultaneously harvested as energy and digitized as information, enabling sustained real‐time waveform monitoring without external power.

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.

Exploiting Ferroelectric and Spintronic Dynamics for Neural Network Computation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric and spintronic devices, relying on the control of polarization and magnetization, offer intrinsically fast, durable, energy‐efficient, and low‐latency building blocks for analog in‐memory computing. The hysteretic dynamics of an order parameter are leveraged to provide nonvolatile, multistate memory and nonlinear switching. Brain‐inspired

Hysteretic Energy Demands in Multi-Degree-of-Freedom Systems Subjected to Earthquakes

open access: yesBuildings, 2020
Reliable estimation of energy demands imposed on a structure by a design ground motion is a key component of energy-based design. Although several studies have been conducted to quantify the energy demands in single-degree-of-freedoms systems, few have ...

Numerical simulation of dynamic shear characteristics of geomembrane interface and its application

open access: yesShuili Shuiyun Gongcheng Xuebao, 2021
A series of cyclic shear tests were carried out on geomembrane-gravel interface using a modified large-scale shear device for soils. The hysteretic curves, backbone curves and damping ratio variation curves under different vertical pressures were ...
