Conserved binding mode but diverse interfaces of MreC‐PBP2 interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The crystal structure of abMreC reveals a conserved two β‐barrel architecture and provides structural insights into its role within the bacterial elongasome. The abMreC–abPBP2 complex model identifies the molecular basis of MreC‐mediated PBP2 recognition, contributing to the regulation of peptidoglycan synthesis.

The Integration Order of Vector Autoregressive Processes [PDF]

open access: yes
We show that the order of integration of a vector autoregressive process is equal to the difference between the multiplicity of the unit root in the characteristic equation and the multiplicity of the unit root in the adjoint matrix polynomial.

Biological Nanoparticles for Enhancing Chronic Wound Regeneration

open access: yesCells
Chronic wounds (CWs) represent a growing global health concern with profound clinical and socioeconomic implications. Studies indicate that approximately 15% of CWs remain unhealed one year after the initial treatment.

AscF in the mycobacterial CIII–CIV supercomplex lacks metal and nucleotide binding but links malate oxidation to respiration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The mycobacterial CIII‐CIV respiratory supercomplex is an obligate assembly, encompassing several subunits of unknown functions. We have characterized the intracellular subunit AscF, and show that it is unlikely to be a sensor for metals or nucleotides, but is required for growth on nonfermentable energy sources, and likely works as an adapter for ...

Identification and genotyping of Chikungunya virus using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism methods

open access: yesБиопрепараты: Профилактика, диагностика, лечение
INTRODUCTION. Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) genotyping involves sequencing fractions of genes encoding E1, E2, and nsP1 proteins or the entire genome of the virus.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

Listeria monocytogenes as a Vector for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesVaccines, 2020
Cancer is a wide group of diseases, which was responsible for 9.6 million deaths in 2018. Cancer immunotherapies have become a reality, with the first approval for sipuleucel-T for prostate cancer therapy occurring in 2010.

Speaker Identification by GMM based i Vector

open access: yesCoRR, 2017
Speaker Identification process is to identify a particular vocal cord from a set of existing speakers. In the speaker identification processes, unknown speaker voice sample targets each of the existing speakers present in the system and gives a predication.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
