In this paper, 3 kinds of distribution system (DS) topologies are introduced. Then 3 IAPP protocols available are analyzed and compared from their complexity and robustness. A new IAPP enhancement protocol based on DSC is proposed, and the handover process and query process are described and are proven to have better robustness than previous protocols.
