Attribute-based alterable threshold ring signature scheme with conspiracy attack immunity
Attribute-based cryptography is a generalization and development of the identity-based cryptography, which extends the identity to a set of attributes. In the attribute-based cryptosystem, different members with the same attributes can form a signature ring

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Contributions to pairing-based cryptography [PDF]
Pairing-based cryptography is an active research area in cryptography in the last decade. Pairings are bilinear mappings defined over cyclic groups wherein the discrete logarithm problem is hard.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Economic location-based services, privacy and the relationship to identity [PDF]
Mobile telephony and mobile internet are driving a new application paradigm: location-based services (LBS). Based on a person’s location and context, personalized applications can be deployed.

Cryptographie de l'identité. (Identity-based cryptography).
During this Thesis we investigated the possibilities that Identity-based Encryption offers when used out of their original purpose. We managed to generalize a whole class of different identity-based encryption schemes into Downgradable Identity-based Encryptions. We found a generic way to construct Blind Identity-based Encryptions.

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
