Abstract BACKGROUND About 10% of IDH-mutant gliomas harbor non-canonical IDH mutations (non-R132H IDH1 and IDH2 mutations). The aim of the present study was to analyze the characteristics of these gliomas in comparison to those of IDH1 R132H mutant gliomas.

Comparison of PVL in patients with active IDH and after IDH remission (p = 0.0034, paired samples, Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed rank test). Remission of IDH was considered when a patient off treatment remained free of disease for at least six months.

Increasing TET Expression and 5‐Hydroxymethylcytosine Formation by a Carbocyclic 5‐Aza‐2′‐deoxy‐cytidine Antimetabolite

The carbocyclic Decitabine analog (cAzadC) incorporates as an antimetabolite weakly into the genome of growing tumor cells, where it triggers a genome‐wide demethylation and a surprisingly strong hydroxymethylation of cytosine, which translates into an efficient in vivo antitumor (AML) effect.

Combating VEGFA‐siRNA‐Induced Metabolic Reprogramming via Glucose Utilization Deprivation

An ionizable lipid nanoparticle co‐delivers VEGFA siRNA and glucose oxidase to tumors to counteract VEGFA knockdown‐induced, glutamine‐driven metabolic compensation. Enzymatic glucose consumption reverses the adaptive pathways and restores metabolism toward baseline, thereby sensitizing tumors to therapy.
