An AMP (P 3‐3R‐8I) based on natural peptides, which can target bacterial cell membranes, was precisely constructed via amino acid mutation. P 3‐3R‐8I exhibits antibacterial capability which could be attributed to the ability of P 3‐3R‐8I to quickly penetrate bacterial cell membranes and then to bind to bacterial DNA.

The interaction of TeV photons from blazars with the extragalactic background light produces a relativistic beam of electron-positron pairs streaming through the intergalactic medium (IGM). The fate of the beam energy is uncertain.

The plant hormone jasmonate is perceived by COI1‐JAZ co‐receptors comprising a single F‐box protein COI1 and multiple JAZ repressors with overlapping functions, complicating genetic analysis. We present a reactive antagonist (RA) strategy that selectively promotes COI1 binding to a cysteine‐engineered JAZ variant while blocking wild‐type JAZs, enabling

The Low-z Intergalactic Medium. III. HI and Metal Absorbers at z<0.4
We conduct an ultraviolet (HST and FUSE) spectroscopic survey of HI (Lyman lines) and seven metal ions (OVI, NV, CIV, CIII, SiIV, SiIII, FeIII) in the low-redshift intergalactic medium (IGM) at ...

CD147/Basigin: From Integrative Molecular Hub to Translational Therapeutic Target
This review conceptualizes CD147 as a fundamental “Energy‐Structure Coupler,” physically bridging metabolic flux (via MCTs) with morphogenetic plasticity (via integrins/MMPs) to drive cancer, infection, and autoimmunity. Addressing the “specificity paradox” that limits current translation, the authors chart a strategic roadmap—spanning logic‐gated ...

Radiative Transfer Effects on the Lya Forest
Strong observational evidence for a fluctuating ultraviolet background (UVB) has been accumulating through a number of studies of the HI and HeII Lya forest as well as accurate IGM metallicity measurements.

Lithium–oxygen batteries face an energy‐power trade‐off due to sluggish O2 transport and pore clogging by Li2O2. Simulations show that reducing tortuosity via interconnected macropores enhances oxygen mobility. A freestanding graphene electrode having interconnected macropores with low tortuosity delivers >2500 mAh g−1, stable lean‐electrolyte cycling,
