Az interleukin-15 receptor molekuláris kölcsönhatásainak vizsgálata humán sejtvonalakon = Investigation of molecular interactions of interleukin-15 receptor on human cell lines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Az IL-15 citokin fontos szerepet játszik a T sejtek működésében és homeosztázisában. Receptora felépítésében a citokin-specifikus alfa lánc és az IL-2R felépítésében is részt vevő béta és gamma alegység vesz részt.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Interleukin 2 and stimulator lymphoblastoid cells will induce human thymocytes to bind and kill K562 targets. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
Human thymocytes cultured in the presence of IL-2 and an irradiated B cell line became cytotoxic to K562 target cells. Thymocytes cultured alone or with only IL-2 exhibited almost no killing, but thymocytes cultured in the presence of stimulator cells ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Variation of Interleukin-8 (IL-8) Receptor Gene Based on Single Strand Conformation Polymorphism (SSCP) in Indonesian Friesian Holstein Dairy Cattle

open access: yesAnimal Production: Indonesian Journal of Animal Production, 2010
Interleukin-8 (IL-8) receptor gene is response to bacterial invasion, endothelial and epithelial cells by release the chemokine interleukin-8 (IL-8). IL-8 mediates neutrophil function, allowing neutrophils to resolve bacterial infections by migrating ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
