Characterization of distinct subpopulations of hepatic macrophages in HFD/obese mice. [PDF]
The current dogma is that obesity-associated hepatic inflammation is due to increased Kupffer cell (KC) activation. However, recruited hepatic macrophages (RHMs) were recently shown to represent a sizable liver macrophage population in the context of ...

Biomimetic nanocarriers based on liposomes and Myxobacteria outer‐membrane vesicles (OMVs) are effective antibiotic delivery systems. Hybrids have a higher drug loading and can target intracellular pathogens, while OMVs evade immune clearance. Biomimetic nanoantibiotics effectively eliminate the biofilms of Gram‐negative bacteria. Besides, Myxobacteria

Patients with chronic radiation enteritis (CRE) demonstrate dysregulated bile acid (BA) metabolism, characterized by an increased proportion of primary BAs and a decreased proportion of secondary BAs. Moreover, the diversity of the intestinal microbiota is significantly reduced in individuals with CRE, and there is a bidirectional interaction between ...

Immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome in treatment-experienced HIV-infected patients
We described two cases of treatment-experienced HIV-infected patients who presented with cytomegalovirus uveitis and Cryptococcus neoformans adenitis as a manifestation of immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS) during salvage treatment ...

Integrating skin barrier measurements with omics and machine learning, we found that postbiotics and NAM regulate skin homeostasis through distinct, strain‐ and dose‐dependent mechanisms. Postbiotics primarily modulate skin barrier function by promoting keratinocyte differentiation and suppressing inflammation.
