Immunocytochemical localization of cathepsin B in rat kidney. I. Light microscopic study using the indirect immunoenzyme technique. [PDF]

open access: bronzeJournal of Histochemistry & Cytochemistry, 1986
Localization of cathepsin B in rat kidney was studied using immunocytochemical techniques. Cathepsin B was purified from rat liver and antibody to it was raised in rabbits. The antibody reacted with a lysosomal extract of rat kidney to form a single precipitin line in a double-diffusion test.

The Significance of CXCL1 and CXCR1 as Potential Biomarkers of Colorectal Cancer [PDF]

open access: yesBiomedicines, 2023
The CXCL1/CXCR2 and CXCL8-CXCR1/CXCR2 axes are under intensive investigation as they appear to regulate the progression and invasion of colorectal cancer (CRC). Growing evidence demonstrates the elevated expression of these proteins in CRC.

THE NUCLEAR STAINING PATTERNS OF ANTINUCLEAR FACTORS OBSERVED WITH IMMUNOENZYME ANTIBODY TECHNIQUE

open access: bronzeACTA HISTOCHEMICA ET CYTOCHEMICA, 1971
By means of the indirect immunoenzyme antibody technique for the detection of antinuclear factors, the sere from 18 patients with SLE were examined, and nuclear staining patterns observed were classified as follows; diffuse, perinuclear, flecked, fine granular, and thready types.

An Immunoenzyme Histochemical Technique for Detecting Platelet Antibodies from the Serum of Children with Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) [PDF]

open access: bronzeThrombosis and Haemostasis, 1977
A simple reproducible, semiquantitative immunohistochemical assay for the detection of antiplatelet antibodies has been developed and is adaptable for clinical use. Blood smears from normal donors are incubated with test sera and platelet bound immunoglobulins are detected using goat anti-human immunoglobulin G, A, M, conjugated to horseradish ...

Simultaneous measurement of total and IgA-conjugated alpha 1-microglobulin by a combined immunoenzyme/immunoradiometric assay technique.

open access: bronzeClinical Chemistry, 1989
Abstract alpha 1-Microglobulin (alpha 1m), a glycoprotein (Mr = 30,000) found in serum and urine, is also present in serum conjugated to monomeric IgA (alpha 1-m-IgA). We have developed a simultaneous enzyme-linked immunoenzyme/immunoradiometric assay that involves three different monoclonal antibodies. Assay of serial dilutions of serum

Acute brainstem encephalitis associated with in an adult: a case report [PDF]

open access: yesEncephalitis, 2021
Brainstem encephalitis (BE) associated with Mycoplasma pneumoniae in adults is rare, and the diagnosis is challenging. We describe an uncommon case of BE in an immunocompetent patient.

Approaches to quantifying hepatitis B virus covalently closed circular DNA [PDF]

open access: yesClinical and Molecular Hepatology, 2022
Chronic hepatitis B is a major cause of liver disease worldwide and is currently incurable. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) covalently closed circular (ccc) DNA is a key form of the virus responsible for its persistence and is the transcriptional template for ...

[Immunoenzyme technique for detection of salivary anti-diphtheria antibacterial antibodies].

open access: closedKlinicheskaia laboratornaia diagnostika, 2010
Enzyme immunoassay for determining salivary anti-diphtheria antibacterial IgA was developed to evaluate local anti-diphtheria immunity. One hundred and thirty-one apparently healthy preschool and school children aged 2 to 16 years, inoculated with diphtheria and tetanus toxoids and pertussis and attenuated diphtheria and tetanus toxoid vaccines by the ...
