New concepts, innovations and some issues have emerged since the adoption a decade ago of WHO/ISUP grading for CCRCC and PRCC. Continued use of the WHO/ISUP grading for CCRCC and PRCC has been upheld by newer studies, and practice guidance for some of the grading issues, where data are available, is provided.

Perineurioma‐like EMA‐positive calvarial neoplasms: clinicopathological study of eight cases
Perineurioma‐like, EMA‐positive calvarial neoplasms (PLECN) are a rare group of intraosseous spindle cell tumours that demonstrate overlapping morphologic features of perineurioma and fibroblastic meningioma. These lesions tend to behave indolently but show a propensity for progressive growth.

Subcutaneous panniculitis‐like T‐cell lymphoma. Survival outcomes according to the presence of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) and T category. Relapse‐free survival was inferior in patients presenting with generalized (T3) skin lesions. Overall survival was poor in patients with HLH. Relapse‐free survival was also reduced in patients with HLH.
