Immunoreactivity of boronated antibodies

Journal of Immunological Methods, 1990
Boronated antibodies have already been evaluated as agents in neutron capture therapy. Because the boronation procedure may alter the properties of the antibody it is important to study the immunoreactivity of the conjugated antibody before in vivo use.

Immunoreactive cytokeratins in plasmacytomas

Histopathology, 1989
Fourteen plasma cell tumours, including examples of solitary plasmacytoma and multiple myeloma, were studied with a panel of antibodies reactive in formalin‐fixed, paraffin wax‐embedded tissue. Each case showed immunoglobulin light chain restriction. Five tumours were reactive with antibodies to cytokeratin. Of these five cases, four were negative with

Prolactin as an immunoreactive agent

Immunology & Cell Biology, 1995
SummaryProlactin (PRL), an endocrine hormone from the anterior pituitary, is also synthesized and secreted by activated immunocytes, mostly T cells and thymocytes. In vitro PRL acts as an autocrine or paracrine growth factor which regulates the proliferation of previously stimulated immunocompetent cells.

Immunoreactivities of human isoferritins

Clinica Chimica Acta, 1985
We have examined the immunoreactivities of antisera prepared against ferritins from human liver and HeLa cells to tissue ferritins and to individual isoferritins. In a radioimmune assay for HeLa ferritin the cross-reactivity of liver ferritin was about 2.5%.

Bioactive and immunoreactive FSH and immunoreactive inhibin concentrations in the ovine fetus

Journal of Endocrinology, 1992
ABSTRACT The bioactive (B) and immunoreactive (I) pituitary contents/concentrations of FSH, together with the plasma concentrations of B-FSH, I-FSH and I-inhibin were determined in ovine fetuses at days 55, 75, 90 and 135 of gestation (day 145 = term).

IMMUNOREACTIVITY IN LUNG CANCER

Chest Surgery Clinics of North America, 1995
Lung cancer has been associated with suppression of the cellular immune system. Recent experimental evidence suggests that recognition of HLA class I molecules by cytolytic T lymphocytes is important for tumor resistance. Augmentation of this interaction may soon play a role in cancer therapy.

Sulfation of gastrin: Effect on immunoreactivity

Regulatory Peptides, 1981
The effect of sulfuric acid esterification of Tyr-12 in gastrin-17 on immunoreactivity was evaluated by the ability of seventeen antisera raised against non-sulfated gastrin-17 to bind sulfated gastrins in extracts of gastrinoma and antral tissue.
