Immunoreactive endometritis

International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 1991
Summary. A benign polyclonal lymphoid proliferation of the endometrium which bears morphological resemblance to the malignant lymphoma is found among women with bleeding disturbances. Seven previous cases have so far been reported in the literature.

Immunoreactive GRP

Peptides, 1981
Radioimmunoassay specific for GRP was developed using C-terminal specific anti-synthetic porcine GRP sera. Measurement of the porcine gastrointestine and brain tissue extracts with GRP and with bombesin radioimmunoassays indicates that the bombesin-like immunoreactivity found in the porcine tissues is attributable to GRP or GRP-like materials. GRP-like

p53 Immunoreactivity in oligodendrogliomas

Journal of Neuro-Oncology, 1994
Data are presented on p53 protein presence in human oligodendrogliomas whose progress from low grade to anaplastic oligodendroglioma can be followed. Expression was evaluated by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded section immunohistochemistry, using monoclonal PAb 1801 antibody.

Changes in immunoreactive insulin, C-peptide immunoreactivity, and immunoreactive glucagon in acute viral hepatitis

Journal of Gastroenterology, 1995
Insulin and glucagon are thought to play important roles as hepatotrophic factors in acute viral hepatitis (AVH); however, few reports have investigated the responses and relationships of each of these hormones to liver damage in detail. We studied insulin and glucagon responses during the acute and recovery phases of AVH.

Immunoreactivity of Bovine Schwannomas

Journal of Comparative Pathology, 2007
Thirty schwannomas from 22 cows were examined immunohistochemically. All were positive for vimentin and Ki-67 but negative for pancytokeratin, neurofilament, and desmin. S-100 immunolabelling varied between and within lesions. The numbers of tumours giving positive results for S-100, neuron-specific enolase (NSE) and glial fibrillary acidic protein ...

Cytokeratin immunoreactivity in gliomas

Histopathology, 1989
Monoclonal antibodies (AE1/3, CAM 5.2 and PKK‐1) and polyclonal antisera against the cytokeratin proteins were reacted with a range of astrocytic tumours, oligodendrogliomas and ependymomas. Seven of 12 cases (58%) of glioblastoma multiforme, five of eight (63%) anaplastic astrocytomas and two of five (40%) well‐differentiated astrocytomas were ...

Immunoreactivity of rhodopsin and opsin

Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - General Subjects, 1984
An examination by a radioimmunoassay of the relative affinity of opsin and rhodopsin for rabbit antibody raised against bovine rhodopsin revealed that opsin was the preferred antigen. About 10-fold greater amounts of rhodopsin than opsin were required to achieve 50% inhibition of binding of 125I-labeled ligand in the RIA.

Immunoreactive gastrin and gestation

American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1975
Serum concentration of radioimmunoreactive gastrin reflects closely the known physiology of gastric acid secretion during pregnancy. In particular, marked rises of immunoreactive gastrin occur in late pregnancy, at parturition, and in the early puerperium.

Immunoreactive Endothelin in Pheochromocytomas

Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, 1991
The presence of endothelin (ET) in tumor tissue and plasma of patients with pheochromocytoma was studied by radioimmunoassay. Immunoreactive (ir-) ET concentrations in 12 pheochromocytomas ranged from 66 to 253 fmol per gram wet tissue (gwt) (146 +/- 20 fmol/gwt, mean +/- SEM). These values were not significantly higher than tissue ir-ET concentrations

CD99 Immunoreactivity in Ependymoma

Applied Immunohistochemistry & Molecular Morphology, 2001
The expression of CD99 in normal ependymal cells and ependymoma has been reported. However, only limited numbers of tumors have been studied, and the pattern of CD99 expression has not been described. The authors' purpose was to investigate CD99 immunoreactivity in ependymoma and its use for differential diagnosis.
