Phylogeny and Immunoreactivity of Norovirus GII.P16-GII.2, Japan, Winter 2016–17
During the 2016–17 winter season in Japan, human norovirus GII.P16-GII.2 strains (2016 strains) caused large outbreaks of acute gastroenteritis. Phylogenetic analyses suggested that the 2016 strains derived from the GII.2 strains detected during 2010–12.

Calretinin immunoreactivity in the claustrum of the rat [PDF]
The claustrum is a telencephalic structure which consists of dorsal segment adjoining the insular cortex and a ventral segment termed also endopiriform nucleus (END). The dorsal segment (claustrum) is divided into a dorsal and ventral zone, while the END is parcellated into dorsal, ventral and intermediate END.

immunoreactivity following systemic immune challenge
Activation of the peripheral immune system elicits a coordinated response from the central nervous system. Key to this immune to brain communication is that glia, microglia, and astrocytes, interpret and propagate inflammatory signals in the brain that ...

Full spectrum lighting induces behavioral changes and increases cortisol immunoreactivity in captive arachnids [PDF]
The use of full spectrum illumination, including ultraviolet (UV), during captive husbandry of arachnids such as scorpions and theraphosids (tarantulas) is common practice in zoological institutions and amongst some hobbyists, as confirmed by a survey ...

Endothelin-1 Immunoreactivity and its Association with Intramedullary Hemorrhage and Myelomalacia in Naturally Occurring Disk Extrusion in Dogs [PDF]
BACKGROUND: The pathophysiology of ascending/descending myelomalacia (ADMM) after canine intervertebral disk (IVD) extrusion remains poorly understood. Vasoactive molecules might contribute. HYPOTHESIS/OBJECTIVES: To investigate the immunoreactivity

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.
