Synthesis and Antileishmanial Activity of 1,2,4,5-Tetraoxanes against Leishmania donovani [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
A chemically diverse range of novel tetraoxanes was synthesized and evaluated in vitro against intramacrophage amastigote forms of Leishmania donovani. All 15 tested tetraoxanes displayed activity, with IC50 values ranging from 2 to 45 µm.

Combining pot, atom and step economy (PASE) in organic synthesis. Synthesis of tetrahydropyran-4-ones [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The combination of pot, atom and step economy (PASE) in the synthesis of organic molecules of medium complexity can lead to a significant 'greening' of a synthetic route.

New “Green” Approaches to the Synthesis of Pyrazole Derivatives

open access: yesMolecules, 2007
A novel approach to the synthesis of pyrazole derivatives from tosylhydrazones of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds possessing a β-hydrogen is proposed, exploiting microwave (MW) activation coupled with solvent free reaction conditions.

Stochastic Driving Cycle Synthesis for Analyzing the Energy Consumption of a Battery Electric Bus

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Previous driving cycle generation studies have focused on constructing a single cycle from a large data set. This paper takes the opposite approach by presenting a novel driving cycle synthetization method that can generate a large number of varying ...
