PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Adaptive Fractional Hybrid Impedance Control of Rotary Series Elastic Actuator in Flat Terrains

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems
This study presents a novel control approach, called adaptive fractional hybrid impedance control (AFH‐IC), for rotary series elastic actuators (RSEAs) operating in flat terrains, such as solid floors (hard), carpet (medium), and grass (soft).

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Impedance Control of Redundant Manipulators: Dissertation

open access: yes, 2011
This thesis presents research work related to the impedance control of redundant manipulators. The main goal is to study the effects of redundancy on the dynamic behaviour of manipulators. Firstly, theoretical developments related to redundancy, dynamics and impedance control are presented in general form without restriction to any particular ...

Adenosine‐to‐inosine editing of miR‐200b‐3p is associated with the progression of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Adaptive Robust Impedance Control of Grinding Robots Based on an RBFNN and the Exponential Reaching Law

open access: yesActuators
Given that grinding robots are easily affected by internal and external disturbances when machining complex surfaces with high precision, in this study, an adaptive robust impedance control method combining a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN ...

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.
