Comparison of the optical quality vision between real post-LASIK myopic laser surgery and the simulated implantation of a phakic IOL in low myopia [PDF]
A phakic intraocular lens (PIOL) of − 4.5 D was characterized from its wavefront aberration profile. A preclinical study was conducted using pre- and post-surgery data from four patients that had undergone myopic laser refractive surgery.

Effect of pupil size on posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens vault measurements
Purpose: The aim of this study was to measure the implantable collamer lens (ICL) vault changes with anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) after the implantation of the Visian posterior chamber phakic ICL with a central hole (V4c) in ...

Pupillary capture of implantable collamer lens after oral antidepressants [PDF]
We report the case of a 26-year-old man under treatment with the antidepressant drugs olanzapine and buspirone, which are associated with anticholinergic effects, in whom an implantable collamer lens (ICL) became spontaneously dislocated. ICL dislocation and pupil capture occurred 10 months postoperatively. The lens was successfully repositioned.

Clinical Outcomes of Toric Implantable Collamer Lens implantation
Purpose: To assess the efficacy of the Toric Implantable Collamer Lens (Toric ICL) to treat moderate to high myopic astigmatism. Methods: Toric ICL was implanted in 77 eyes of 40 patients with myopia (spherical equivalent [SE] between 3.5 and 18.5 diopters [D]) and astigmatism between 1 and 6 D.

Observing implantable collamer lens dislocation by panoramic ultrasound biomicroscopy [PDF]
Observe the image characteristics and dislocation of implantable collamer lenses (ICL) following their use to correct high myopia.A total of 127 patients (242 eyes); 64 females (50.3%) and 63 males (49.7%) were included in this retrospective study with ICL V4 implantation and mean spherical equivalent -9.08±2.04 diopters (D).
