Clustering is a technique adopted in several application fields as for example artificial neural networks, data compression, pattern recognition, etc. This paper presents the Enhanced LBG (ELBG) a new clustering algorithm deriving directly from the well-known classical LBG algorithm. It belongs to the hard and K-means vector quantization groups.

Summary: A modification of the EM algorithm is proposed for situations in which the maximization of the ``complete data'' likelihood function does not have a closed-form solution. Self-consistency of the modified algorithm is established. Application to carcinogenicity experiments is illustrated, and the results of a simulation study comparing the ...

Improvements to an algorithm for equipartitioning
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1990Modifications to a clustering algorithm in which objects are adaptively partitioned into clusters of equal size are described. The object migration automaton has the advantage of being conceptually simple and easy to implement. Unfortunately, the algorithm may exhibit slow convergence speed and in some cases may not converge at all.

Association rules mining occupies an important position in data mining. In order to improve the efficiency of mining of frequent itemsets, contrapose the two key problems of reducing the times of scaning the transactional database and reducing the number of candidate item sets, an improved algorithm is presented based on the classic Apriori algorithm ...

In1 the wireless sensor network, the sensor network has the problem of energy constraints. One of its important objectives is the energy of sensor nodes can be used efficiently, and the lifetime of the whole network system can be extended on the premise of completing the requirement of application.

Recently, the proportionate normalized least mean square (PNLMS) algorithm was developed for use in network echo cancelers. In comparison to the normalized least mean square (NLMS) algorithm, PNLMS has very fast initial convergence and tracking when the echo path is sparse.

The original Parameter-Less Self-Organising Map (PLSOM) algorithm was introduced as a solution to the problems the Self-Organising Map (SOM) encounters when dealing with certain types of mapping tasks. Unfortunately the PLSOM suffers from over-sensitivity to outliers and over-reliance on the initial weight distribution.

In order to solve the ill-conditioned problem in GPS rapid positioning, an improved algorithm for ADPAM was proposed. By computing the optimal mirror plane, this algorithm achieved a maximized angle between the projected epoch subspace and its adjacent epoch. Thus, the optimization of ADPAM is implemented.

An Improved Algorithm for Bert
Proceedings of the 2020 International Conference on Cyberspace Innovation of Advanced Technologies, 2020Natural language processing (NLP) has been widely applied in machine translation, speech recognition and other fields. Many elegant results have been proposed such as text classification, sentiment analysis. In recent years, the Bert model has made a great breakthrough in many NLP tasks.

HB+ is a shared-key authentication protocol, proposed by Juels and Weis at Crypto 2005, using prior work of Hopper and Blum. Its very low computational cost makes it attractive for low-cost devices such as radio-frequency identification(RFID) tags. Juels and Weis gave a security proof, relying on the hardness of the “learning parity with noise” (LPN ...
