Fetal head station and head circumference at second‐stage onset and likelihood of vaginal delivery in nulliparous women

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Our objective was to evaluate the combined association of fetal head station (FHS) at second‐stage onset and fetal head circumference (HC) with the likelihood of spontaneous vaginal delivery (SVD) in nulliparous women. Methods This retrospective cohort study included nulliparous women with singleton, vertex‐presenting, term ...

Fertility counseling and preservation considerations in patients with gynecologic and non‐gynecologic BRCA and Lynch‐associated malignancies

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Lynch syndrome and BRCA‐mutation associated malignancies are fortunately rare. Affected patients have an increased risk of cancer diagnosis at a young age, often significantly overlapping with their reproductive years. In helping these patients, oncologists must navigate the following areas of care: cancer prevention, impact of cancer ...

Conserved SERPINE2 function maintains ovarian estrogen production to support fertility in goats and mice

open access: yesiMetaOmics, EarlyView.
Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing and functional profiling of goat ovaries with divergent litter sizes revealed prolificacy‐associated granulosa cell (GC) states characterized by enhanced proliferation‐ and steroidogenesis‐related features, together with altered predicted cell–cell communication.

Cross species metabolic complementation of vitamin K2 biosynthesis determines emergent suppression of tomato Fusarium wilt

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Multi‐omics approaches have revealed a cross‐species functional emergence phenomenon leading to emergent suppression of Fusarium wilt. We show that a three‑species consortium exhibits emergent suppression of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (Fol) that is absent in single or pairwise cultures.

Exploring vaginal microbiota–tissue resident stem cell crosstalk: VCAM1/Akt signaling ‐mediated enhancement of regenerative capacity

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Vaginal microbiota‐derived secretory factors enhance the regenerative capacity of human endometrial stem cells by upregulating VCAM1 and activating PI3K/Akt signaling. This microbiota–stem cell crosstalk promotes self‐renewal, migration, multilineage differentiation, and metabolic reprogramming in vitro and in vivo, establishing a novel microbiota ...
