PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

The airway microbiome of persons with cystic fibrosis correlates with acquisition and microbiological outcomes of incident Stenotrophomonas maltophilia infection

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology
RationaleChronic infection with Stenotrophomonas maltophilia in persons with cystic fibrosis (pwCF) has been linked to an increased risk of pulmonary exacerbations and lung function decline.

PARP inhibitors elicit distinct transcriptional programs in homologous recombination competent castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PARP inhibitors are used to treat a small subset of prostate cancer patients. These studies reveal that PARP1 activity and expression are different between European American and African American prostate cancer tissue samples. Additionally, different PARP inhibitors cause unique and overlapping transcriptional changes, notably, p53 pathway upregulation.

Interference of surface plasmon polaritions controlled by the phase of incident light

open access: yes, 2008
Interference patterns of surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs) are observed in the extraordinary optical transmission through subwavelength holes in optically thick metal plate. It is found that the phase of incident light can be transferred to SPPs.

Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

METHODOLOGY OF PROBABILISTIC EVALUATING OF CURRENT ACCIDENT RATE BASED ON THE FACTORIAL ANALYSIS OF AVIATION EVENTS

open access: yesНаучный вестник МГТУ ГА, 2016
Methodological approach to cumulative quantitative estimation of safety level is presented through probabilistic (frequency) indices of aviation events on the record, taking into account the importance of their сause factors.

A partial wave analysis of the $\pi ^0\pi ^0$ system produced in $\pi ^-p$ charge exchange collisions

open access: yes, 2000
A partial wave analysis of the of the $\pi ^0\pi ^0$ system produced in the charge exchange reaction: $\pi ^-p\to \pi ^0\pi ^0n$ at an incident momentum of $18.3 GeV/c$ is presented as a function of ${\pi ^0\pi ^0}$ invariant mass, $m_{\pi^0\pi^0}$, and ...

Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.
