Objective The goal was to assess the diagnostic performance of three novel autoantibodies (NA) for Sjögren disease (SjD) by comparing NA prevalence in patients with SjD, other autoimmune rheumatic diseases (ARDs), nonspecific chronic sialadenitis (CS), and controls.

A dataset of multi-level street-block divisions of 985 cities worldwide
Street-blocks, as basic geographical units for dividing urban space, are widely used in urban planning and statistics. However, the availability and quality of street-block data vary significantly across different countries or regions worldwide.

Robust Estimation in Incomplete Blocks Designs
Robust estimates of contrasts in treatment effects for experiments with one observation per cell were proposed by Lehmann [6] for complete (randomized) blocks designs. The model for the observations $X_{i\alpha} (i = 1, \cdots, c; \alpha = 1, \cdots, n)$ is in this case \begin{equation*}\tag{1}X_{i\alpha} = \nu + \xi_i + \mu_\alpha + U_{i\alpha}\quad (\

Objective Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon because of the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.

Resistance of Balanced Incomplete Block Designs
Hedayat and John (1974) studied the case of resistance of a balanced incomplete block design (BIBD) to the removal of one treatment. They showed that a necessary and sufficient condition for a BIBD to be resistant (that is, retain its variance balance) upon removal of a single treatment is that the two proper subdesigns created by this removal be BIBDs.

Rheumatologic Manifestations of Patients With Type B Insulin Resistance
Objective The objectives of this study were to identify laboratory and clinical features associated with type B insulin resistance (TBIR), a rare condition caused by autoantibodies that inhibit the insulin receptor, most frequently occurring in the setting of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and to increase awareness of this rare, life‐threatening ...

Objective Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a heterogenous inflammatory condition with widely varying global prevalence estimates. The frequency of SLE in the general population of Australia has been reported to be notably lower than contemporary estimates in countries such as the United States or United Kingdom, at 19 to 39 per 100,000 as opposed ...

An Inequality for Balanced Incomplete Block Designs
The inequality $b \geqq v + r - 1$ for a balanced incomplete block design was proved by Bose [1] under the assumption of resolvability. In this note the inequality is proved without that assumption, but with the weaker assumption that $v = nk$.

Objective Despite well‐described biologic causes, the public views unhealthy lifestyle choices as the primary cause of gout. This study investigated how causal beliefs about gout influence the public's views about its management. Methods In a randomized study, 201 members of the public viewed one of two 2‐minute videos about gout.
