Development of a Competitive Indirect ELISA for the Determination of Lincomycin in Milk, Eggs, and Honey

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2010
Polyclonal antibodies to lincomycin (LIN) were developed in rabbit as a result of immunization with BSA-LIN conjugate. Periodate oxidizing of hapten was the common step of both immunogen synthesis and preparation of conjugated antigens for coating plates (homologous and heterologous).

Use of indirect and competitive ELISAs to compare isolates of equine influenza A virus

Journal of Virological Methods, 1986
Antigenic differences within equine-1 and equine-2 isolates of influenza were studied by haemagglutination inhibition tests, indirect ELISA and competition ELISA, using the same antisera. Better differentiation was obtained with the competition ELISA than with the other two tests.

Analysis of erythritol in foods by polyclonal antibody-based indirect competitive ELISA

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2008
Sugar alcohols are widely used as food additives and drug excipients. Erythritol (INS 968) is an important four-carbon sugar alcohol in the food industry. Erythritol occurs naturally in certain fruits, vegetables, and fermented foods. Currently, HPLC and GC methods are in use for the quantification of erythritol in natural/processed foods.

Optimization and Validation of an Indirect Competitive ELISA for Detecting Enrofloxacin Residue

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
This article aimed to optimize a polyclonal antibody based indirect competitive ELISA (icELISA) and compare between the icELSIA method and the LC-MS technology for the determination of enrofloxacin (ENR) residue. Based on the square matrix titration, linear range of the icELISA was from 0.006 to 31.5 ng/mL, with LOD and IC50 values of 0.003 ng/mL and 0.

Uncertainty of measurement for competitive and indirect ELISAs.

Revue scientifique et technique (International Office of Epizootics), 2008
A method for the estimation of the uncertainty of measurements for Gaussian outcomes of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is described using competitive and indirect foot and mouth disease (FMD) ELISAs. Assay repeatability was determined by random effects analysis of variance, and the normality of the residuals was checked.

Determination of Florfenicol Amine Residues in Animal Edible Tissues by an Indirect Competitive ELISA

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2008
Florfenicol (FF) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used increasingly in aquaculture, livestock, and poultry to treat diseases. To avoid using labor-intensive instrumental methods to detect residues of FF in food and food products, a simple and convenient indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ic-ELISA) method for florfenicol's major ...

A Recombinant Fab Antibody Against Kwakhurin as a Tool for Sensitive Indirect Competitive ELISA

Current Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, 2019
Pueraria candollei var. mirifica (P. candollei), known as White Kwao Krua in Thai, has long been used in traditional Thai medicine for the symptoms of menopause due to the potent estrogenic activity exhibited by the isoflavonoids and chromenes it contains. Recently, health hazards caused by P.

Development of an Indirect Competitive ELISA for Ciprofloxacin Residues in Food Animal Edible Tissues

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2001
An indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was developed to detect ciprofloxacin (CPFX) in food animal edible tissues. CPFX was converted by an active ester method into conjugates CPFX-bovine serum albumin (CPFX-BSA) and CPFX-human serum albumin (CPFX-HSA), which both allowed production of CPFX-specific rabbit antisera.

Development of an Indirect Chemiluminescent Competitive ELISA to Detect Danofloxacin Residues in Milk

Analytical Letters, 2011
In this study, a sensitive and specific indirect chemiluminescent enzyme-linked immunosorbance assay method (CL-ELISA) was developed to detect danofloxacin residue in milk. The influence of experimental factors on the results of the method was investigated, including the concentration of coating antigen and primary antibody, the dilution factor of the ...
