Is Capsaicin Effective in Relieving the Symptoms of Burning Mouth Syndrome? A Systematic Review
The capsaicin, administered topically or systemically, reduces pain symptoms in patients with Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS). However, despite consistent clinical improvement, the current evidence is limited and of low certainty, highlighting the need for well‐designed studies to confirm its effectiveness. ABSTRACT Background Burning Mouth Syndrome (BMS)

Traumatic Optic Neuropathy – Case Report with Discussion on Diagnostic Procedures and Therapy
Traumatic optic neuropathy (TON) is a serious vision threatening condition that can be caused by ocular or head trauma. Indirect damage to the optic nerve is the most common form of TON occurring in 0.5% to 5% of all closed head trauma cases.

Treatment Outcomes following Traumatic Optic Neuropathy
Introduction: An association between facial trauma and blindness has long been recognized,1 but it was not until 1845 that Nuhn recognized that visual impairment was associated with optic nerve scarring. Traumatic optic neuropathy can be either direct or

A Whole‐Head Finite Element Model for Electrical Neuromodulation via Visual Brain‐Machine Interfaces
A multimodal, personalized head model is presented that integrates the entire visual pathway with surrounding tissues to simulate electrical stimulation of the optic nerve. In vivo validation in humans and goats, plus systematic component‐elimination analysis, demonstrates the high accuracy of the comprehensive model.

The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

Peripheral nerve injury induces dynamic cortical plasticity, driven by molecular mechanisms such as BDNF and neurotransmitter systems. This review synthesizes subtype‐specific plasticity patterns: compressive injuries trigger rapid reorganization, while metabolic neuropathies lead to maladaptive changes.
