‘Indolent’ plasmacytoma

SUMMARYA patient presented with lethargy, nausea and diarrhoea and had a 10‐year history of neurological symptoms in his legs. He was found to have renal failure. Investigations demonstrated a longstanding plasmacytoma of the sacrum and progression to myeloma. Such an indolent course for plasmacytoma is rare.
