Tracking of [14C]Polystyrene Nanoplastics in Pregnant Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study investigates [14C]polystyrene nanoplastic ([14C]PS) translocation in late‐stage pregnant mice after intranasal (0.5 mg of [14C]PS on GD12, GD14, and GD16, n = 6) and intravenous administration (1.5 mg of [14C]PS on GD16, n = 6). 14C‐radiolabel allows quantitative tracking of unmodified polystyrene nanoplastics.

Indoor Localization Based on Bluetooth

open access: yesArtificial Intelligence Research, 2019
Global positioning system (GPS) has been widely used in positioning, vehicle navigation and other environments. However, in indoor environments, it can not achieve accurate positioning because of the weak signal through the wall. In other words, more appropriate techniques are needed in indoor scenes.

MGDP: Mastering a Generalized Depth Perception Model for Quadruped Locomotion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Perception‐based Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) controllers demonstrate impressive performance on challenging terrains. However, existing controllers still face core limitations, struggling to achieve both terrain generality and platform transferability, and are constrained by high computational overhead and sensitivity to sensor noise.

Evaluation of An Indoor Localization Engine

open access: yes2019 International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN), 2019
Pedestrian Indoor localization based on modalities available in modern smartphones have been widely studied in literature and many of the specific challenges have been addressed. However, very few approaches consider the whole problem and proposed solutions are very often evaluated under very limited scenarios.

Gecko‐Like Multi‐Directional High‐Power Magneto–Mechano–Electric Energy Harvesters for Self‐Powered, Hundred‐Meter‐Scale LoRa Communication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Gecko like multi directional high power magneto mechano electric energy harvester (MME EH) for self powered, hundred meter scale LoRa communication. Inspired by the symmetric and flexible limb motion of geckos, the biomimetic harvester enables coordinated bending twisting responses to weak, low frequency (50/60 Hz) stray magnetic fields from power ...
