Solvent‐composition‐controlled film formation enables high‐performance (efficiency = 18.66%) and air‐stable terpene‐processed organic solar cells. An optimized eucalyptol/tetralin ratio of 50:50 (v/v) balances molecular solvation and aggregation kinetics, producing favorable nanoscale phase separation and vertical composition gradients.

Study of SiOx thickness effects on aluminum-induced crystallization
The thickness effects of SiOx which was deposited as an intermediate layer between aluminum and silicon were studied on Aluminum-induced crystallization (AIC). The SiOx layer thickness varied from 2 nm to 20 nm and affected the crystallization process of

Numerical modeling of crystallization-induced damage
This paper presents a finite element model coupling heat, water and salt transport, salt crystallization, deformation and damage in porous materials. The model allows to predict mechanical, hygro-thermal and crystallization induced damage.

Molecular dynamics simulation of silicon nanoparticle crystallization during laser-induced forward transfer printing [PDF]
Laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) printing is a versatile technique to realize micro-/nano-scale additive manufacturing of functional materials, including metals and semiconductors. However, the crystallization phenomena during LIFT printing have not

A lead‐free tin‐based hybrid perovskite is designed in which stereochemically active lone‐pair electrons on tin distort the crystal lattice and break its symmetry. Blended into a flexible polymer, the material converts pressure into electricity at milliwatt‐scale power density and continues working far below freezing, powering a commercial wristwatch ...

Highly crystallized poly (lactic acid) under high pressure
Biodegradable poly (lactic acid) (PLA) usually has a crystallinity less than 10% due to its poor crystallization ability. In this work, we found high pressure could significantly facilitate formation of crystallites of PLA, resulting in a crystallinity ...
