The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,

Photochemically Induced Crystallization of Protein
A photochemical reaction of protein triggers crystal growth. Residual Trp or Tyr radical intermediates are produced by photochemical reactions. The intermediates collide with other proteins to form protein dimers, and some of the dimers grow larger than the critical radius to form crystal nuclei; however, not all dimers grow into nuclei.

Despite benefits to storage stability and handleability of aluminum scrap, octadecyl phosphonic acid (ODPA) SAMs reduce the tensile strength of wires produced using friction‐induced recycling. Etching and methyl diphosphonic acid (MDPA) coatings, however, have little effect.

Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Ice Crystallization Induced by Optical Breakdown
Ice crystallization in supercooled water has been initiated by focused Nd:YAG laser pulses at 1064 nm wavelength. The pulses of 8 ns duration and up to 2 mJ energy produce a bubble in the supercooled liquid after optical breakdown and plasma formation.
