Study protocol: MRI-based assessment of cerebral blood flow under pharmacologically elevated blood pressure in patients under general anesthesia, and in sedated ICU patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage. [PDF]
BackgroundMaintaining cerebral perfusion during anesthesia and intensive care is critical, yet the relationship between mean arterial pressure (MAP) and cerebral blood flow (CBF) remains poorly defined. In patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage

Agreement between arterial blood pressures measured non-invasively and invasively in anaesthetised sheep [PDF]
Background Both invasive and non-invasive blood pressure measuring methods are used in clinical and experimental work in veterinary medicine and several studies validating these methods are published.

Dynamical property of hyperspace on uniform space
First, we introduce the concepts of equicontinuity, expansivity , ergodic shadowing property, and chain transitivity in uniform space. Second, we study the dynamical properties of equicontinuity, expansivity , ergodic shadowing property, and chain ...

Inducing Maps Between Gromov Boundaries [PDF]
It is well known that quasi-isometric embeddings of Gromov hyperbolic spaces induce topological embeddings of their Gromov boundaries. A more general question is to detect classes of functions between Gromov hyperbolic spaces that induce continuous maps between their Gromov boundaries.

Dynamic properties of the dynamical system SFnm(X), SFnm(f))
Let X be a continuum and let n be a positive integer. We consider the hyperspaces Fn(X) and SFn(X). If m is an integer such that n > m ≥ 1, we consider the quotient space SFnm(X). For a given map f : X → X, we consider the induced maps Fn(f) : Fn(X) → Fn(

Saturation-Induced Phase Error Compensation Method Using Complementary Phase
Intensity saturation can induce phase error and, thus, measurement error in fringe projection profilometry. To reduce saturation-induced phase errors, a compensation method is developed.

TPA‐induced activation of MAP kinase [PDF]
Threonine and tyrosine residue phosphorylation of a 42 kDa protein identified as mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAP kinase) was stimulated in extracts from TPA‐pretreated cells. It is further shown that TPA pretreatment leads to the enhancement of an activity that will induce reactivation of dephosphorylated/inactivated MAP kinase.

Inhibitory neuron map of sevoflurane induced neurotoxicity model in young primates
IntroductionSevoflurane, one of the most commonly used anesthetic agents in children, may induce neuronal dysfunction and cognitive impairment. Exposure to sevoflurane might induce an imbalance between neural excitation and inhibition which could be a ...

Induced dynamics on the hyperspaces
In this paper, we study the dynamics induced by finite commutative relation on the hyperspaces. We prove that the dynamics induced on the hyperspace by a non-trivial commutative family of continuous self maps cannot be transitive and hence cannot exhibit
