ABSTRACT Post‐pandemic influenza dynamics have shown unusual patterns globally. We investigated the re‐emergence and recurrent seasonal dominance of influenza B in Korea across three post‐pandemic seasons (2022−2026). We analyzed 157 consecutive weeks of national sentinel surveillance data (K‐SenS, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency), covering

Anti‐idiotypic antibodies as molecular mimics of conserved influenza hemagglutinin epitopes
Abstract Broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) provide insights for developing universal influenza vaccines through their ability to neutralize diverse viral strains. However, designing antigens that reliably elicit bNAb responses remains challenging due to the difficulty in targeting conserved epitopes with a single antigen.

Favipiravir (T‐705) and the non‐fluorinated counterpart (T‐1106) are antiviral agents that inhibit the RNA‐dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) of various RNA viruses. The antiviral efficacy of nucleoside analogues is strongly dependent on their intracellular activation by cellular kinases to produce their corresponding triphosphate metabolites (T‐705‐RTP ...

The H3N2 influenza viruses became widespread in humans during the 1968 H3N2 pandemic and have been a major cause of influenza epidemics ever since. Different lineages of H3N2 influenza viruses are also commonly found in animals. If a different lineage of

Engineering Antibodies into Targeted Chimeras: From Recognition Modules to Programmable Degraders
Antibody can be engineered into diverse lysosome‐targeting chimeras that convert target recognition into active degradation. By coupling antibody binding with recruited receptors, encoded domains, conjugated ligands, or nanoparticle scaffolds, these antibody‐associated targeted chimeras (AbTACs) platforms direct extracellular and membrane proteins ...

Around 2005, influenza A virus (IAV) once again crossed species barriers and established a stable lineage within canine populations. Currently, avian-origin H3N2 canine influenza virus (CIV) is the only strain of influenza that is stably circulating in ...

Influenza virus evolves rapidly due to the accumulated genetic variations on the viral sequence. Unlike in North America and Europe, influenza season in the tropical Southeast Asia spans both the rainy and cool seasons.

Live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV) is widely used to protect humans from seasonal influenza infection, particularly in children. In contrast to inactivated vaccines, the LAIV can induce both mucosal and cellular immune responses.

Some Exposure for Influenza Hemagglutinin Interface Antibodies
ABSTRACT Influenza viruses are a constant threat to human health. Current vaccines often confer low to moderate protection against infection with seasonal viruses and little‐to‐no protection against pandemic viruses. Improved vaccines are needed. These vaccines will need to reliably elicit antibodies to conserved sites that are broadly protective.
