Self‐Assembled Dictamni Cortex Nanoparticles Ameliorate Psoriasis by Epigenetic Modulation of HSP90AB1 and Suppression of the Inflammatory Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops self‐assembled Dictamni Cortex (BXP)‐Fe(III) infinite coordination polymer nanoparticles (NB) to improve BXP's solubility and bioavailability for psoriasis. NB transdermally treats psoriasis by targeting the epigenetic regulator CTCF (CCCTC‐binding factor), suppressing HSP90AB1 (heat shock protein 90 alpha family class B member 1 ...

Quantitative analysis of WC stars: Constraints on neon abundances from ISO/SWS spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Neon abundances are derived in four Galactic WC stars -- gamma Vel (WR11, WC8+O7.5III), HD156385 (WR90, WC7), HD192103 (WR135, WC8), and WR146 (WC5+O8) - using mid-infrared fine structure lines obtained with ISO/SWS.

The quantitative analysis of polyvinylpyrrolidone by infrared spectrophotometry

open access: yesJournal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, 1971
Abstract The quantitative assay of the binding agent polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) in granules of magnesium carbonate has been shown to be possible. The method is to determine the infrared absorption spectrum of a chloroform extract. Quantities of PVP down to 0·1 mg can be successfully assayed to ±1 % in solution as dilute as 0·1 % w/v.

Recent Progress on Photoelectrochemical Organic Upgrading: A Review from Direct and Indirect Charge Transfer Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Photoelectrochemical (PEC) organic upgrading at the anode, coupled with hydrogen evolution at the cathode, presents a promising strategy for enhancing solar energy utilization while simultaneously generating value‐added chemicals. An overview of directional photoanodic conversion of organic substrates is presented, distinctively with an eye to the ...

An analysis of the shapes of interstellar extinction curves. VII Milky Way spectrophotometric optical-through-ultraviolet extinction and its R-dependence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
We produce a set of 72 NIR-through-UV extinction curves by combining new Hubble Space Telescope/STIS optical spectrophotometry with existing International Ultraviolet Explorer spectrophotometry (yielding gapless coverage from 1150 to 10000 ?) and NIR ...

Two-micron spectrophotometry of the galaxy NGC 253 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1979
A very strong Brackett-gamma hydrogen emission line, and the 2.3 micron CO stellar absorption feature were measured in NGC 253. The presence and strength of the CO feature indicates that late type giant stars produce most of the 2.2 micron continuum ...
