Octanoic Acid‐Rich Enteral Nutrition Alleviates Sepsis‐Associated Metabolic Disorders by Suppressing White Adipose Tissue Browning in Mice

Octanoic acid‐rich enteral nutrition enhances hepatic ketogenesis to decrease lactate accumulation in septic mice. This further blocks the lactate‐GPR81‐CTRP6‐p38 pathway, thereby suppressing pathological white adipose tissue browning and its subsequent hypermetabolic effects.
