ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Estimating and Measuring Methods of Residual Stresses Using Inherent Strain Distribution Described as Functions(Report 1). Expression of Inherent strain in Form of Function and Its Estimation.

open access: yesQUARTERLY JOURNAL OF THE JAPAN WELDING SOCIETY, 1993
When three dimensional welding residual stresses are measured based on inherent strains using Finite Element Method, too many inherent strain components in elements have to be specified to express their distribution. If these are determined experimentally, measurements of elastic strains must be made for points more than the inherent strain components.

Data-driven distortion compensation for laser powder bed fusion process using Gaussian process regression and inherent strain method

open access: yesMaterials & Design
The repeated melting and solidification cycles in the laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) process lead to significant thermal gradients, resulting in notable distortion in the as-built part.

Predicting Welding Deformation of Exposed Forged-and-welded Gear by the Integrated Computational Approach

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2023
In the current study, a large exposed forged-and-welded gear with a diameter of 7 160 mm is taken as the research object. An integrated computational approach is employed to predict the total welding deformation of the gear during welding process.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Analysis for Residual Stress and Deformation of Coated Member Using Inherent Strain Method

open access: yesTRANSACTIONS OF THE JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Series A, 2003
The characteristics of residual stress and deformation of thermal sprayed plates, that are the most important property from the view point of production technique for preventing the cracking and delaminating of coatings, have not always been made clear.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Development of Thermal Distortion Analysis Method Based on Inherent Strain for TMCP Steels

open access: yesJournal of the Korean Welding and Joining Society, 2008
As ships become to be larger than ever, the thicker plate and the higher tensile steel plate are used in naval shipyard. Though special chemical composition is needed for high-tensile steels, recent high-tensile steels are made by the TMCP(Thermo-Mechanical control process) skill.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...
