Initial Concepts and Properties

1997
Definition A partial operation in a set P is a ternary relation on P satisfying the condition $$\forall a,b,c,c' \in P\quad (a,b,c),(a,b,c') \in \theta \Rightarrow c = c'.$$

Diazo-Initiated Polymers - Prepartion, Properties, and Evaluation

Industrial & Engineering Chemistry, 1953
Abstract Throughout the great majority of the many investigations on rubberlike synthetic polymers, the initiators employed have been peroxides, either water-soluble (potassium persulfate being the chief example) or oil-soluble, such as benzoyl peroxide or diisopropylbenzene monohydroperoxide.

Dense property of initial literal shuffles

International Journal of Computer Mathematics, 1990
In this paper, we will study several properties of initial literal shuffles which B. Berard introduced as a more constrained form of the well-known shuffle operation. Especially, we are interested in the denseness of initial literal shuffles and principal congruences determined by initial literal shuffles.

The initial blood retention properties of arterial prostheses

Research in Experimental Medicine, 1986
The initial contact between blood and vascular grafts may be a determinant of the fate of the implants. They behave in different ways depending upon their nature: the processed human umbilical vein and the bovine heterograft just lead to minimal thrombotic retention; the expanded PTFE is even more antithrombogenic; the porous polyesters which are ...

M.D.F. initial property determination

2017
"A series of tests on one sheet each of MDF and Moisture Resistant MDF has been carried out by TWP to provide data for comparison with data held by the manufacturer. To reduce the effect of within-sheet variation of properties, three times the number of test coupons required by applicable Standards were prepared and tested.

Property rights and private initiatives: An introduction

Town Planning Review, 2007
Exploring alternatives to customary land use planning Land use planning is an activity of a government body carried out in order to achieve certain goals chosen by that body. The activity almost always consists of making plans and testing applications for permission to build against those plans, and often against other rules like building codes.

Dynamic viscoelastic properties of processed soft denture liners: Part I—Initial properties

The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1995
This research evaluated the dynamic viscoelastic properties of 12 laboratory-processed soft denture liners. Specimens, 1.4 x 3 x 40 mm, were prepared according to the manufacturer's instructions. Five specimens of each material were tested under applied strain frequencies of 1, 5, or 10 Hz and temperatures of 23 degrees C and 37 degrees C.

Properties of a laser-initiated pseudospark discharge

IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science, 1989
A short-pulse Nd:YAG laser is used to illuminate the back electrode surface in the hollow cathode region of a pseudospark discharge. A fast rising step voltage pulse is applied across the electrodes at various times relative to the pulsed laser illumination.

Synthesis and properties of polyurethane macroazo initiators

Macromolecular Symposia, 1997
AbstractThe synthesis of a typical polyurethane macroazo initiator (PUMAI) based on 2, 2'‐azobis(2‐cyanopropanol) (ACP), α, ω‐hydroxy polycaprolactone (PCL) and 4, 4'‐methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) occurs in a two stage polycondensation procedure.
