Transmission loss allocation through a modified Ybus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
A methodology to allocate the active power transmission loss among agents of a power pool is proposed. The approach is based on the inclusion of the admittances equivalent to bus power injections in the bus admittance matrix.

FP-injectivity of factors of injective modules [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Taibah University for Science, 2015
It is shown that a ring is left semihereditary if and only each homomorphic image of its injective hull as left module is FP-injective. It is also proven that a commutative ring R is reduced and arithmetical if and only if E/U if FP-injective for any FP-injective R-module E and for any submodule U of finite Goldie dimension.

A multi-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial protocol to assess Traumeel injection vs dexamethasone injection in rotator cuff syndrome : the TRAumeel in ROtator cuff syndrome (TRARO) study protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Background: Shoulder pain is a common musculoskeletal symptom with a wide range of potential causes; however, the majority of conditions can be managed with conservative treatment.

Braided injections and double loop spaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider a framework for representing double loop spaces (and more generally E-2 spaces) as commutative monoids. There are analogous commutative rectifications of braided monoidal structures and we use this framework to define iterated double ...

Evidence to Use Botulinum Toxin Injections in Tension-Type Headache Management: A Systematic Review

open access: yesToxins, 2017
Tension-type headache (TTH) is the most common type of chronic recurring head pain. It can occur twice as often in women as in men. It is the most common type of headache. Its lifetime prevalence is 30% to 78% in the general population.

The Subcutaneous Injection of Organophosphate: A Case Report

open access: yesInternational Journal of Medical Toxicology and Forensic Medicine, 2021
Organophosphate (OP) poisoning is prevalent in developing countries. Toxicity occurs by voluntary injection, inhalation, and absorption. Self-injection is rare.

On injectivity and $p$-injectivity

open access: yesKyoto Journal of Mathematics, 1987
This note contains the following results for a ring A : (1) A is simple Artinian if and only if A is a prime right Y J- injective, right and left V -ring with a maximal right annihilator ; (2) if A is a left quasi-duo ring with Jacobson radical J such that AA=J is p-injective, then the ring A=J is stongly regular ; (3) A is von Neumann regular with non-

Multivariable polynomial injections on rational numbers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
For each number field k, the Bombieri-Lang conjecture for k-rational points on surfaces of general type implies the existence of a polynomial f(x,y) in k[x,y] inducing an injection k x k --> k.Comment: 4 ...
