Recognition and interaction of virus by the innate immune system

open access: yes
The innate immune system acts rapidly to limit infection of invading pathogens. The interaction and recognition of pathogens such as viruses by the innate immune system, is of importance to understand why particular pathogens induce disease.$AUD 307,946 ...

Charge‐Reversed Lipid Nanoparticles Enable Encapsulation of Pt2L4 Nanocages for In vivo Anti‐Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Charge‐reversed lipid nanoparticles (revLNPs) enable efficient encapsulation and delivery of cationic Pt2L4 nanocages. Encapsulation preserves potent anticancer activity while improving circulation, reducing vascular leakage, and promoting favorable biodistribution in vivo.

Synchronized Ablation of Multifocal Tumors Enabled by Multi‐Channel Lanthanide Nanocomposites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A multi‐channel lanthanide nanocomposite enables orthogonal monitoring of tumor pH, glutathione, and temperature to guide customized therapy. Real‐time luminescence readouts determine a single irradiation protocol that synchronizes drug release and photothermal treatment, allowing efficient ablation of multifocal tumors while minimizing overtreatment ...

Bacteria‐Trained, MnO2‐Armored Dendritic Cells for Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
MnO2‐armored, bacteria‐trained dendritic cells undergo tumor‐responsive mechanical and immunological transformation. The nanocoating masks immune ligands and maintains a mechanically stiff, quiescent state during circulation, while the tumor microenvironment removes the armor and restores cellular deformability and immune accessibility.
