Early and late inner retinal changes after inner limiting membrane peeling
International Ophthalmology, 2013Pars plana vitrectomy and inner limiting membrane (ILM) peeling are standard procedures for macular hole and epiretinal membrane surgery. However, ILM peeling is known to cause mechanical traumatic changes to the retinal nerve fiber layer. Recently there have been numerous reports of anatomical changes in the macula after ILM removal.

Proteomics of mitochondrial inner and outer membranes
PROTEOMICS, 2008Abstract For the proteomic study of mitochondrial membranes, documented high quality mitochondrial preparations are a necessity to ensure proper localization. Despite the state‐of‐the‐art technologies currently in use, there is no single technique that can be used for all studies of mitochondrial membrane proteins.

Membrane hydrophone having inner and outer membranes
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1995An acoustic device, such as a membrane hydrophone, includes a support structure and an outer membrane that suspends a transducer membrane within the interior of the support structure. The transducer membrane is selected for its acoustic and piezoelectric properties and is preferably a polymer such as P(VDF-TrFE).

Inner nuclear membrane proteins: functions and targeting
Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, 2001We summarize the properties of integral membrane proteins that reside in the inner nuclear membrane, including lamin B receptor (LBR), lamina-associated polypeptide (LAP) 1, LAP2, emerin, MAN1 and nurim. Most of these proteins interact with lamins and chromatin.

Topogenesis of inner membrane proteins of mitochondria
Trends in Biochemical Sciences, 1996Proteins of the inner mitochondrial membrane display a diverse range of topological arrangements. These proteins, encoded either by the nuclear or mitochondrial genomes, contain sequence determinants, so-called topogenic signals, which direct newly synthesized proteins to their final orientation in the membrane.
