Characterization processes for ASA/Al2O3 nanocomposites in MEX 3D printing. ABSTRACT As additive manufacturing (AM) continues to expand, the demand for durable components for outdoor applications is increasing. Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), a weather‐resistant polymer, is widely used in these applications, and improving its performance could ...

Representatives of INOVA Diagnostics respond to the letter by Drs. Hoefner and Yeo: [PDF]
Anticardiolipin antibody (ACA) tests are among the most difficult of all ELISAs to standardize. There are the well-known difficulties of adhering the phospholipid to a plastic microwell plate. In addition, the antigen solid phase is complex, consisting of both the phospholipid plus a necessary cofactor, known as β2-glycoprotein (β2-GPI), and the ...

This study demonstrates that the Single Time Point Prediction score, a novel machine learning–based imaging biomarker, along with established quantitative CT measures, is significantly associated with disease progression in non‐IPF ILD. This imaging metric may enable earlier identification of high‐risk patients and support personalised treatment ...

Photo‐Activated Merging Cascades in Droplet Swarms Upon Synergistic Solvation of Surfactants
UV activates the motility of UV‐responsive droplets through a decylammonium/carbamate crystalline layer at the air/water interface. Upon merging with immobilized C12E3 surfactant droplets in the layer, hybrid droplets form which dissolve the layer due to synergistic solvation. In large droplet fields, this non‐linear behavior drives cascading events of

Incidence of P200 pemphigoid: A nationwide study
The anti‐LAMB4 cell‐based immunoassay is a new serological technique that is far superior to dermal immunoblotting for detecting autoantibodies directed against the P200 protein. This method allows a re‐evaluation of the incidence of P200 pemphigoid, which appears to be considerably more frequent than epidermolysis bullosa acquisita.
