Power characterizations of input-to-state stability and integral input-to-state stability
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2001The authors introduce new notions of external stability for nonlinear systems, making use of average powers as signal norms and comparison functions as in the input-to-state stability (ISS) framework. Several new characterizations of ISS and integral ISS are presented in terms of these notions.

Remarks on input to state stabilization

No.03CH37475), 2004We announce a new construction of a stabilizing feedback law for nonlinear globally asymptotically controllable (GAC) systems. Given a control affine GAC system, our feedback renders the closed loop system input to state stable with respect to actuator errors and small observation noise.

This generalization relies on the notion of stability with respect to two measures originally introduced by Movchan [1960].
