Spaceborne and spaceborn: Physiological aspects of pregnancy and birth during interplanetary flight
Abstract Crewed interplanetary return missions that are on the planning horizon will take years, more than enough time for initiation and completion of a pregnancy. Pregnancy is viewed as a sequence of processes – fertilization, blastocyst formation, implantation, gastrulation, placentation, organogenesis, gross morphogenesis, birth and neonatal ...

Silver and Copper Nanoparticles as Non‐Antibiotic Therapy for Postpartum Endometritis in Dairy Cows
Postpartum dairy cows with clinical endometritis (purulent or mucopurulent vaginal discharge and >10% polymorphonuclear neutrophils [PMNs]) received intrauterine copper–silver nanoparticles, PGF2α, or no treatment. Clinical and cytological responses were assessed 14 days later to evaluate the efficacy of copper–silver nanoparticles as a non‐antibiotic ...

Clinoptilolite supplementation in canine semen extenders showed dose‐dependent effects during cryopreservation, with 2% yielding optimal post‐thaw sperm quality. Higher concentrations impaired sperm parameters, likely due to oxidative imbalance, highlighting the importance of precise dosing to enhance cryosurvival.
