Accelerated Exponentially Fitted Operator Method for Singularly Perturbed Problems with Integral Boundary Condition

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2020
In this paper, we consider a class of singularly perturbed differential equations of convection diffusion type with integral boundary condition. An accelerated uniformly convergent numerical method is constructed via exponentially fitted operator method ...

A finite element conjugate gradient FFT method for scattering [PDF]

open access: yes
Validated results are presented for the new 3D body of revolution finite element boundary integral code. A Fourier series expansion of the vector electric and mangnetic fields is employed to reduce the dimensionality of the system, and the exact boundary

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

The Existence of Positive Solutions for a p-Laplacian Tempered Fractional Diffusion Equation Using the Riemann–Stieltjes Integral Boundary Condition

open access: yesMathematics
In this paper, we focus on the existence of positive solutions for a class of p-Laplacian tempered fractional diffusion equations involving a lower tempered integral operator and a Riemann–Stieltjes integral boundary condition. By introducing certain new

On Fučík type spectrum for problem with integral nonlocal boundary condition

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2019
The Fučík equation x' '= -μ x+λ x- with two types of nonlocal boundary value conditions are considered. The Fučík type spectrum for both problems are constructed. The visualization of the spectrum for some values of parameter γ is provided.

Integrable lattice realizations of conformal twisted boundary conditions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2001
We construct integrable realizations of conformal twisted boundary conditions for ^sl(2) unitary minimal models on a torus. These conformal field theories are realized as the continuum scaling limit of critical A-D-E lattice models with positive spectral parameter. The integrable seam boundary conditions are labelled by (r,s, ) in (A_{g-2},A_{g-1}, )

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
