We study B-brane superpotentials depending on several closed- and open-moduli on Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces and complete intersections. By blowing up the ambient space along a curve wrapped by B-branes in a Calabi-Yau manifold, we obtain a blow-up new ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Integral Manifolds of the Charged Three-Body Problem [PDF]
This thesis is dedicated to the study of the In- tegral Manifolds of the Charged Three-Body Problem. My aim is to give a mathematical analysis of the physical mechanical system that consists of three charged particles moving in space and interacting via ...

Hyperbolic Volumes of Two Bridge Cone-Manifolds
In this paper we investigate the existence of hyperbolic, Euclidean and spherical structures on cone-manifolds with underlying space 3-sphere and with singular set a given two-bridge knot.

Chern classes of integral submanifolds of some contact manifolds
A complex subbundle of the normal bundle to an integral submanifold of the contact distribution in a Sasakian manifold is given. The geometry of this bundle is investigated and some results concerning its Chern classes are obtained.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Rigidity Phenomena of Group Actions on a Class of Nilmanifolds and Anosov R^n Actions [PDF]
An action of a group Г on a manifold M is a homomorphism ρ from Г to Diff(M). ρo is locally rigid if the nearby homomorphism ρ, ρ(γ) = h o ρ0, (γ) 0h^(-1) for some h Є Diff(M) and for all, γ Є Г.
