Quality control in integrated navigation systems
IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine, 1990A recursive testing procedure for use in integrated navigation systems is introduced. It can be used in conjunction with the Kalman filter algorithm. Diagnostic tools for inferring the detectability of particular model errors are given. The testing procedure consists of three steps: detection, identification, and adaptation.

Study on adaptive GPS/INS integrated navigation system
Proceedings of the 2003 IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems, 2004A GPS/INS integrated navigation system based on the theory of multi-sensor data fusion is presented in this paper. Error models for the inertial measurement unit are generated and included in the extended Kalman filter for INS. An improved decentralized Kalman filter is developed to eliminate obvious error of GPS data and reduce the load of calculation.

Decentralized Relative Navigation and JTIDS/GPS/INS Integrated Navigation Systems
1982Abstract : One contribution of this research is a deeper understanding of the stability and performance of community relative navigation, such as is currently implemented in the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS). Relative navigation in the JTIDS system is organized in a decentralized manner with the Kalman filter in each member ...

GNSS/INS/VKM Vehicle Integrated Navigation System
2014When the vehicle is in the process of moving, the GNSS signals may be unlocked or lost star which will make GNSS/INS integrated navigation system not reliable enough for driving. To solve this problem, I put forward a kind of vehicular integrated navigation scheme constructed by GNSS, INS and vehicle kinematics model.

Kalman Filter Techniques in Marine Integrated Navigation Systems
Journal of Navigation, 1977Anyone concerned with navigation, be he practising navigator, design or development engineer, teacher, or amateur yachtsman, will be aware that the great majority of developments took place prior to Captain Cook's epic voyages (1768–1779) or after 1904 when the first radio time signals were transmitted.

Integration of Intraoperative 3D-Ultrasound in a Commercial Navigation System
Zentralblatt für Neurochirurgie, 2006The purpose of this study was the integration of three-dimensional ultrasound data into a neuronavigation system, in order to allow a guided intraoperative resection control during neurosurgical interventions.A system for iterative neuronavigation based on 3D-ultrasound (US) has been developed.

NFC/INS integrated navigation system: The promising combination for pedestrians' indoor navigation
2014 International Symposium on Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering (ISFEE), 2014It is well known that there are many limitations of the current positioning systems either indoors or outdoors. Moreover, most of the current positioning systems require preinstalled infrastructure in the surrounding environment, which is costly in most cases and requires special devices from the user side. The near field communications (NFC), inertial

Improved Neural Network Information Fusion in Integrated Navigation System
2007 International Conference on Mechatronics and Automation, 2007In order to overcome the limitation of single sensor in vehicle integrated navigation system, cascade fusion architecture is proposed to enhance the reliability of location information. Our research is focus on the algorithm in decisionmaking level of the fusion architecture, which is used to fuse the information from Global Positioning System (GPS ...
