Nonlinear Integrated Quantum Optics
Frontiers in Optics 2015, 2015The present waveguide technology for quantum source fabrication is at an early stage of development. Here we present novel approaches to source engineering which enable us to generate specific multipartite and large size quantum states.

Integrated Optics for Quantum Computer
2022Many of the proof-of-principle experiments in quantum optics have been carried out using table-top free-space optics. While they provide good testbeds for optical quantum optics experiments, to build actual devices and quantum computers, we have to move to the integrated optics where reproducibility and stability are more reliable.

Integrated optics components for quantum information
2011 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics Europe and 12th European Quantum Electronics Conference (CLEO EUROPE/EQEC), 2011Quantum information science has shown that harnessing quantum mechanical effects can dramatically improve performance for certain tasks in communication, computation and measurement. Of the various physical systems being pursued, single particles of light - photons - are often the logical choice [1].

Integrated optics-based quantum communication devices
SPIE Proceedings, 2017Quantum communication or more specifically quantum information processing is considered as the future of information science and technology. In this paper we propose a scheme to implement quantum communication at the device level using integrated optics. We implement the quantum communication protocol BB84, in a waveguide based circuit using integrated

Quantum key distribution with integrated optics
2014 19th Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASP-DAC), 2014We report on a quantum key distribution (QKD) experiment where a client with an on-chip polarisation rotator can access a server through a telecom-fibre link. Large resources such as photon source and detectors are situated at server-side. We employ a reference frame independent QKD protocol for polarisation qubits and show that it overcomes ...

Large-scale integrated quantum optics
Science, 2018Quantum Optics The ability to pattern optical circuits on-chip, along with coupling in single and entangled photon sources, provides the basis for an integrated quantum optics platform. Wang et al. demonstrate how they can expand on that platform to fabricate very large quantum optical circuitry. They integrated more than 550 quantum optical components
