Luminescence and Photochromism in Lanthanide‐Doped Hackmanites
Lanthanide‐doped lithium hackmanite derivatives are prepared utilizing a doped LiAlSiO4 precursor to modify luminescent and photochromic properties. Upon UV excitation, europium doping results in green Eu2+ persistent luminescence from shallow traps. Contrarily, samarium doping induces unusual near‐infrared photochromism.

THE EURADOS WORK TOWARDS A REVIEW ON RETROSPECTIVE DOSIMETRY AFTER INCORPORATION OF RADIONUCLIDES
Biological dosimetry methods are well established and validated for providing dose estimates following external radiation exposures. In contrast, interpreting biological dosimetry data in cases of internal exposures is still challenging. In this context,

Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors frequently silence MEN1 through epigenetic mechanisms. Here, SIRT7 recruits DNMT1 to the MEN1 promoter, drives hypermethylation, and enhances DNA repair. Inhibiting SIRT7 restores MEN1, reduces MRN complex abundance, impairs double‐strand break repair, and sensitizes PanNET models to radiation, supporting SIRT7 as a ...

Deep Learning-Assisted Whole-Body Voxel-Based Internal Dosimetry [PDF]
We propose a novel methodology to conduct whole-body organ-level dosimetry taking into account the heterogeneity of activity distribution as well as patient-specific anatomy using Monte Carlo (MC) simulations and machine learning algorithms.
