Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

A Route Planning and Traffic Control Model for Autonomous Intersections by Minimizing Conflict Zones

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Most existing studies on autonomous intersection management (AIM) primarily focus on modeling and resolving conflicts between vehicles within an intersection, assuming predetermined routes of the autonomous vehicles (AVs) as exogenous inputs ...

The Clique Problem in Ray Intersection Graphs

open access: yes, 2011
Ray intersection graphs are intersection graphs of rays, or halflines, in the plane. We show that any planar graph has an even subdivision whose complement is a ray intersection graph.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

INFLUENCE OF PARAMETERS OF THE TRAFFIC- LIGHT REGULATION CYCLE ON THE ROAD CAPACITY OF REGULATED INTERSECTIONS

open access: yesВестник СибАДИ, 2019
Introduction. Road capacity refers to the main indicators, characterizing the working conditions of streets and highways. For the street capacity as a whole the minimum value of a certain section is taken, which includes adjustable intersections in one ...

Intersection Homology. General perversities and topological invariance

open access: yes, 2019
Topological invariance of the intersection homology of a pseudomanifold without codimension one strata, proven by Goresky and MacPherson, is one of the main features of this homology. This property is true for codimension-dependent perversities with some

Overview of molecular signatures of senescence and associated resources: pros and cons

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cells can enter a stress response state termed cellular senescence that is involved in various diseases and aging. Detecting these cells is challenging due to the lack of universal biomarkers. This review presents the current state of senescence identification, from biomarkers to molecular signatures, compares tools and approaches, and highlights ...

The effect and mechanism of freeze-dried powder of Poecilobdella manillensis on improving inflammatory injury of rat glomerular mesangial cells through TXNIP / NLRP3 pathway

open access: yesHeliyon
s: Objective: Diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is a common complication of diabetes mellitus. The pathophysiological changes in platelet function and the hypercoagulable state associated with DKD are closely linked to inflammatory processes.

MiR‐513a promotes human erythroid differentiation by modulating c‐Jun

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.
