Discrimination of repetitive intervals by younger and older listeners.

Effect of Retention Interval on the Cue Repetition Effect
The American Journal of Psychology, 1985Cue repetition can interfere with cued recall (Overton & Adolphson, 1979). In two experiments we showed that in agreement with a contextual change hypothesis this effect is reduced when the interval between the repetition of the cue and the test is lengthened.
