The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Intracellular Developmental Timers [PDF]
One of the most poorly understood aspects of animal development is how the timing of developmental events is controlled. In most vertebrate cell lineages, for example, precursor cells divide a limited number of times before they stop and terminally differentiate, but it is not known what controls when the cells stop dividing and differentiate. There is

The immunomodulatory properties of probiotics largely depend on the metabolites secreted into the culture medium, which is studied as a cell-free supernatant and referred to as postbiotics. The aim of the present work was to conduct screening of cytokine
