Neuropathological Correlates of Volume and Shape of Deep Gray Matter Structures in Community‐Based Older Adults

The present study revealed the independent effects of age‐related neuropathologies on both the volume and shape of multiple deep gray matter structures by combining ex vivo MRI and detailed pathology data in a large number of community‐based older adults. Mixed pathologies are very common and the present study disentangles their effects.
