Intradermal Vaccination with PLGA Nanoparticles via Dissolving Microneedles and Classical Injection Needles

open access: yesPharmaceutical Research
Abstract Purpose A dissolving microneedle array (dMNA) is a vaccine delivery device with several advantages over conventional needles. By incorporating particulate adjuvants in the form of poly(D,L-lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles (NPs) into the dMNA, the immune response against the antigen might be enhanced.

Microneedles for the treatment of migraine and orofacial pain: A narrative review

open access: yesHeadache: The Journal of Head and Face Pain, Volume 66, Issue 5, Page 1148-1161, May 2026.
Abstract Background Migraine is a common neurological disorder and a primary headache condition. Despite its central origin, migraine pain may be referred to the orofacial region via trigeminal pathways, resulting in phenotypic overlap with other orofacial pain (OFP) conditions.

Persistence of pain induced by startle and forehead cooling after sympathetic blockade in patients with complex regional pain syndrome [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Background: Stimuli arousing sympathetic activity can increase ratings of clinical pain in patients with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Objective: To determine whether the increase in pain is mediated by peripheral sympathetic activity.

Efficacy and Safety of Non‐Cross‐Linked Hyaluronic Acid Mesotherapy for Post‐Acne Erythema: A Split‐Face, Prospective, Randomized, Single‐Center Trial

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Post‐acne erythema (PAE) is one of the most common inflammatory sequelae of acne. Although various therapeutic approaches are currently available, many are limited by suboptimal efficacy, poor tolerability, or high costs. This trial aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of non‐cross‐linked hyaluronic acid (HA ...

Comparative field efficacy of all-in-one intradermal vaccine based on an inactivated recombinant Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae with an embedded/integrated porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) capsid protein and concurrent administration with monovalent of M. hyopneumoniae and PCV2 intradermal vaccine

open access: yesFrontiers in Veterinary Science
BackgroundEfficacy of an intradermal all-in-one vaccine based on an inactivated recombinant Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae strain with an embedded/integrated porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) capsid protein thereof, as the single active substance, is provided ...

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler‐Associated Vascular Occlusion—A Review of Prevention and Management Strategies

open access: yesJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Volume 25, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Significant complications are uncommon with aesthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers, but inadvertent injection of dermal filler into an artery can result in tissue damage, scarring, visual loss, and even stroke. Practitioners must therefore reduce this risk through proactive, preventative techniques.

Intradermal delivery of a fractional dose of influenza H7N9 split vaccine elicits protective immunity in mice and rats

open access: yesHuman Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics, 2018
